Welcome to 2021!
Happy New Year everyone!
Ok, so we are starting the new year in England in Lockdown but we are back and preparing for the season ahead. Management are returning to work over the next week so please be patient with us whilst we adjust to the Lockdown and the current way of working.
We wish everyone a safe, heatlhy and happy 2021.
Autumn 2020
How are we into autumn already and heading to the end of the 2020 season?! The farm looks lovely on an autumn morning.
2020 Season
Well the 2020 season is in full swing and hasn't it been a year already!
We have successfully turned all remaining fields into table top strawberries or cane fruit to make for easier picking for our harvest teams by allowing everything to be picked from a standing position.
We have also worked fast to construct a new mobile home accommodation site for seasonal staff. In light of COVID19 this has allowed us more space to work with.
Recruitment has not been without its hitches but the Emery team and Proforce together have managed to get through some tough weeks of working with increased volumes of applications and employment changes. With the pandemic shutting down many UK jobs we saw an influx in applications from inside the UK and are pleased to say we were able to recruit a good number of local applicants and we'd like to take an opportunity to welcome them to the team and thank them for their work to date. As always we continue to support recruitment from the EU and via the new Non EU worker pilot scheme, all of which are essential to UK farming now and in the future.
The farm has remained working throughout the COVID19 pandemic after our agricultural employees were named as key workers by the UK government. R&J Emery are proud to be able to supply the UK with soft fruit during these times and are thankful to all our employees and everyone beyond who have helped make it possible to continue working safely.

July 2016
We were very pleased to be able to donate a few trays of strawberries to raise money for this great charity, local to our very first growing location in Warsash and the area of Locks Heath where us Emery's all grew up. A fantastic team set up by organiser Kerry to bring more random acts of kindness into the community. This team brings members of the local community together to help others in need or to reward them for their contributions.

Sarisbury Green Summer Fayre - 13th June 2015
The 13th of June was all about the strawberries creating smiling faces for St.Pauls Church in Sarisbury Green. We were happy to donate some strawberries to the summer fayre for the church to give away to the community. We were delighted to recieve a thank you letter and a very yummy cake in return!
'A BIG thank you for the donation of strawberries for the church stall at Sarisbury Green Summer Fayre. We were able to give them out to over 800 people in return for 800 smiles. There were many comments about how good the strawberries were. Thank you for your help for the local community, it is greatly appreciated' - Rev Sandy Matheson.
